Suburban Jungle - Suburban Real Estate Advisory
Suburban Jungle helps families leaving the city find the suburb that fits them, matching buyers with local strategists across major U.S. metro markets. Its content mainly nurtured existing clients. Moving Traffic Media saw an opportunity to use content for acquisition through SEO and built 30 long-form “living in” guides for the high-value towns families research before moving. From October 2025 through July 2026, those 30 guides made up 2.8% of the site’s URLs but earned 19.9% of its organic search impressions, and each guide drew 6x the sessions of the average page on the rest of the site.

Service: SEO & AEO content strategy
Objective: Reach families deciding where to move
KPI: Organic impressions, sessions, AI citations
THE CHALLENGE:
Suburban Jungle’s content was built to serve the families it already works with. Most of it supports nurturing and existing clients, with guides to the best coffee shops, ice cream spots, and things to do in the towns those families are moving to or have just moved to. That content does its job well: it keeps Suburban Jungle useful to clients throughout their move and beyond. MTM’s sitewide content audit surfaced a different opportunity: using content for acquisition through SEO. Families who haven’t yet found Suburban Jungle are searching for answers to a set of questions long before they talk to anyone. What does this town cost? Which neighborhoods fit? How do the schools rank? How long is the commute? The audit found that many of the towns those families research had no in-depth coverage on the site. Capturing that demand would take a new kind of page: one built for the decision to move, not life after it, and strong enough to rank, earn the click, and get cited by AI answer engines.
THE STRATEGY:
Moving Traffic Media added an acquisition layer to Suburban Jungle’s content, focused on the decision to move rather than life after it. Rather than spreading thin coverage across hundreds of towns, MTM went deep in the markets that mattered most. The plan called for one definitive guide per high-value town, each built to answer every major question a relocating family asks about that place. The 30 towns were chosen by combining two inputs. The first was business priority: the markets where Suburban Jungle was seeing the most client interest at the time. The second was MTM’s sitewide content audit, which identified high-interest locations the site didn’t yet cover in depth. The result was a list of towns where demand was already proven and the site had room to win. The plan paired journalist-quality writing with SEO-driven briefs, so each guide would read like a trusted local feature while hitting every topic and link the search strategy required. The format served two audiences at once. For searchers, each guide is a single destination that replaces a dozen browser tabs. For AI answer engines, each question-led section is a self-contained, sourced answer that can be lifted and cited on its own. Every guide also routes readers toward Suburban Jungle’s market pages and a strategist consultation, so research traffic has a clear next step.
DETAILS:
Who wrote the guides, and how were they produced? Moving Traffic Media’s freelance content team, made up of working journalists, wrote every guide. Each writer worked from a detailed MTM content brief. The brief combined Suburban Jungle’s brand guidelines, competitive research on how other sites cover the town, required topic coverage, and internal linking targets. Suburban Jungle’s internal stakeholders reviewed each draft for compliance. MTM then published the approved guide on the client’s behalf, typically one per week.
What does each guide cover? Moving Traffic Media built all 30 guides on a consistent long-form template with question-led H2s for the topics relocating buyers research. These include cost of living, neighborhoods, weather, who lives there, housing styles, schools, jobs, the commute to the city, travel access, and things to do. The [Fairfield, CT guide](https://suburbanjunglegroup.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-living-in-fairfield-ct/) is a representative example.
How were the guides built for answer engines? Each section opens with a direct answer, then supports it with specifics: price ranges, school counts, train times, and fares. Facts are sourced to authoritative references such as state education data and Census figures. Each guide closes with an FAQ block covering the comparison questions buyers ask, like whether a town is good for families or why it costs what it does.
How do the guides connect to the rest of the site? Every guide links into Suburban Jungle’s regional market pages, related guides and client stories, and a “Speak with a Local Expert Strategist” call to action. This turns each guide into an entry point to the rest of the site rather than a dead end.
THE RESULTS:
The 30 city guides earned a share of Suburban Jungle’s search visibility far out of proportion to their size. From October 2025 through July 2026, the guides made up 2.8% of the site’s URLs with search impressions but generated 19.9% of its organic impressions, 15.0% of its GA4 sessions, and 12.2% of its organic clicks. On a per-page basis, the gap is just as clear. Indexing the rest of Suburban Jungle’s site to 100, the average city guide scored 849 on Google impressions per URL, 604 on GA4 sessions per URL, and 475 on organic clicks per URL from October 2025 through July 2026. Put simply, each guide earned 8.5x the impressions, 6x the sessions, and 4.8x the clicks of a typical page on the site. AI visibility grew over the same period. Suburban Jungle’s sitewide citations in Bing’s AI answers more than doubled between November 2025 and July 2026, a 125% increase, while the number of cited pages held roughly steady. The site’s strongest pages were being cited more often, not just more pages being cited.
